Good day, I graduated with a Diploma in Advertising Management and I am currently in the second year of a BCOMM in Marketing Management. I started my career at Mindshare South Africa as a junior insights analyst. My daily responsibilities included but were not limited to assisting the marketing team by providing them with insights in regards to brand and product profiles, consumer demographic and psycho-graphic presentations as well as keeping track of competitor brands marketing investments. I would also create and present a media landscape document to the team every quarter which tracked changes and trends within the media arena. Being a central resource in the organization, I collaborated with members of the staff on a number of projects and found that I worked harmoniously with my colleagues and delivered on time. After parting ways with Mindshare, I started working with my father at his insurance brokerage business in the capacity of office manager. This allowed me to become familiar with the administrative tasks necessary to run a business. I was in charge of client record keeping and updating, budget management and being the first point of contact to clients and underwriters. During my time here I have learnt and come to enjoy building and maintaining relationships with outside business partners as well as clients and have found this crucial in the smooth running of a business. I am also very hands on with the day to day running of the business from making sure that clients have on-going and responsive support for any of their queries to making sure there is paper in the printer. I feel that my willingness to learn makes me a great prospect for this position. I am confident, professional, hardworking, resilient and creative and have an excellent command of the English language.
